About the Event

Our 30 Minute Mindfulness sessions are based on mindfulness meditation practices in the Buddhist tradition. You will be led through three guided meditations which focus on being present in the body, being aware of the breath and calming the busy mind. These short meditations are aimed at those who want to deepen their meditation practice or begin meditating for the first time. Do join us for a peaceful pause at the end of the weekend. Open to all – people of all beliefs are welcome.

Please use hand sanitiser, wear a mask and sit with a spare seat between you and the next person.

The service will begin promptly at 11am. Please arrive in good time to be seated before the start of the service. Our Sunday Services are also live-streamed via our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/c/rosslynhillunitarianchapel

Cashless Donations Preferred

To protect staff and volunteers, you are invited to make a donation online instead of at the Chapel. Alternatively, you may make a cashless donation (£5, £10 or £20) using our card reader at the end of the service. If you need to make your donation in cash, we will ask you to put it in the collection basket at the end of the service.

COVID-19

The Board of Trustees at Rosslyn Hill Unitarian Chapel are determined to keep our community as safe as possible. As the Omicron variant becomes more prevalent there is a high probability that guests could be infectious without realising. To reduce the possibility of transmission all attendees must complete a registration form and agree to additional precautions in place for this event. Please only proceed to register if you can confirm all of the below:

  • You agree to take a lateral flow test on the day and only attend if it is negative
  • You agree to wear a mask at all times in the chapel
  • You agree to let the chapel know if you are not attending so they can offer your place to someone else
  • You have been vaccinated

The Chapel attempts to be a COVID-19 secure venue. We have regular cleaning, a one way system and ventilation. To help us keep secure we request that you sanitise your hands on entry, wear a face mask when indoors and leave an empty seat between you and the next person. Due to extra ventilation please wrap up warm!

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 please do not book or attend a Chapel service or event and follow the Government advice. Symptoms of COVID-19 are:

  • A high temperature.
  • A new cough where you keep on coughing – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more episodes of coughing in a day.
  • Losing, or there being a change to, your sense of smell or taste.

Please note that the Chapel is keeping up to date with the COVID-19 situation and may need to cancel in-person services at short notice. Please check your emails before travelling to the Chapel.
