About the Event

We honour the Twentieth Century tradition of the Flower Communion. First practiced by Czech minister Norbert Capek, it celebrates the beauty of the natural world and the diversity of our beliefs. We ask you to bring a single flower with you (and we will have some extra flowers if you forget!) Please note: the flower communion ceremony will not be shown on screen so you can feel comfortable taking part fully in the interactive part of this service. Our Sunday Services are also live-streamed via our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/c/rosslynhillunitarianchapel

The service will begin promptly at 11am, when the front gates will also be shut. Please arrive by 10.45am.

Children's Chapel: Due to Covid restrictions, Children's Chapel activities will resume on 25 July!

Cashless Donations

To protect staff and volunteers, you are invited to make a donation with your booking in advance instead of at the Chapel. If you need to make your donation in cash, we will ask you to post your Gift Aid envelope into the collection box at the end of the service. You can print one out for completion manually here.

COVID-19

The Chapel is a COVID-19 secure venue. We have regular cleaning, a one way system and ventilation. To help us keep secure we ask that you sanitise your hands on entry and wear a face mask when inside the building.

Due to extra ventilation please wrap up warm!

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 please do not book or attend a Chapel service or event and follow the Government advice. Symptoms of COVID-19 are:

  • A high temperature.

A new cough where you keep on coughing – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more episodes of coughing in a day.

Losing, or there being a change to, your sense of smell or taste.

NHS Track and Trace

The Chapel will keep a GDPR compliant record of data you provide with this booking for 21 days to enable NHS Test and Trace to contain local outbreaks if and when they happen.

Live Streaming

Please be aware that service will be streamed live to the Chapel's YouTube Channel, with cameras facing the preacher and the musician. You won't appear on screen, however noises may be picked up by the microphones.

Please note that the Chapel is keeping up to date with the COVID-19 situation and may need to cancel in-person services at short notice. Please check your emails before traveling to the Chapel.
