Arpezzato Cello Concert

An afternoon of original composition and a new style of cello playing. Alongside work with the bow, 'Celloman' Ivan Hussey uses finger techniques imported from the worlds of Pop/Rock, Blues and Jazz including 'hammer-on', 'slide', 'pop', 'slap', 'strum' and 'Walking bass.'

The music takes its influence from a variety of musical traditions. From the Southern Indian influenced 'Veena' to the African highlife of 'Georgetown', the flamenco sounding 'Scenes of you' and the Jazzy 'Dream in G.'

Using hand sanitiser, wearing masks and maintaining social distance is now a matter of personal choice when you come to our spacious and airy Chapel. For more information, visit our Covid page.

Free entry - donations welcome.

You can make cash or contactless donations at the Chapel. You can also donate to the Chapel online. Our collections in June, with the exception of online donations, will be shared with the Good Cause of the Month, the Chalk Farm Food Bank. Any Gift Aid claimed by the Chapel will go wholly to support the Chapel.
