About the Event
An interfaith service of remembrance reflecting on how people of faith reached out across barriers. Featuring Rosslyn Hill Chapel Choir and Channing Junior School Choir. The service will begin at 10.55am with a bugler and 2min silence followed by a candle lighting by a member of the Baha'i community. A member of the local Albanian Muslim Community and a representative from Mitzvah Day will offer readings. Elizabeth Arif-Fear of Voices of Islam will be telling the story of how Albanian Muslims rescued Jews during the Holocaust. Join us for a moving event which marks the loss and tragedy of war as well as an uplifting story of hope which can inspire us all.
Using hand sanitiser, wearing masks and maintaining social distance is now a matter of personal choice when you come to our spacious and airy Chapel. For more information, visit our Covid page.
You can also watch online via our YouTube Channel.
You are also invited to join us afterwards for a virtual social gathering, Virtual Side Aisle, at noon via Zoom. Details and the Zoom link are on our weekly update email. You can also find the Zoom link on YouTube – in the Service description, under the video. Click the Connect link and it will take you to Zoom.
Can be made as cash or contactless donations at the back of the Chapel. You can also donate to the Chapel online. Our collections in November, with the exception of online donations, will be shared with the Good Cause of the Month, the Chapel's Cold Weather Shelter run in collaboration with the C4WS Homeless Project. Any Gift Aid claimed by the Chapel will go wholly to support the Chapel.
