Morning Service: Spirit Qualities: Robert Wedderburn’s Unitarianism for Today

Robert Wedderburn was the first Black Unitarian minister. An abolitionist and political radical, he combined Christianity and the Afro-Caribbean tradition of Obeah to create a unique form of Unitarianism. His approach of blending traditions to produce new kinds of spirit filled practices has much to offer Unitarianism today. Our guest speaker, Rev Colin Bossen, is the Senior Minister at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston. See below for details of our children's programme, Bright Lights.

This activity encourages you to explore your creativity while exploring the symbolism of new beginnings.
