About the Event

In this service we will examine the idea of inclusivity from the perspective of the person who is “other.” We will try to empathise with the needs of others, who are different to ourselves, recognising that in many day to day interactions there may be an imbalance that we may not be attuned to. We will try to accept that for many, this leaves them constantly feeling like they are never quite fully welcome - for reasons that will be forever impossible to explain. Dr Mairi Blitz has spent her career to date working in different emergency departments across North & East London, proudly caring for  one of the most diverse populations on earth. See below for details of our children's programme, Bright Lights.

Bright Lights children's programme:

This month we are exploring the theme, openness, through fun arts and crafts activities with discussions on how they relate to openness at Rosslyn Hill! Open-Space Collages: design a fun collage for our "Open-Space" wall, considering how it relates to openness: i.e. seeing the bigger picture and exploring new ideas while combining different elements to create a broader perspective!
