Courage in the Face of Disaster

Guest speaker Kathy Childress will reflect on the work of her organisation, Christian Aid. She says, “When disaster strikes in the communities that Christian Aid supports, we are struck time and again by the courage, resilience and determination to ‘build back stronger’ in the people most affected. I will share stories of courage and hope in areas of our world suffering humanitarian crises, whether through emergencies or ongoing conflict.”

About Kathy: Kathy is currently Christian Aid’s Legacy Partnership Manager. She has worked at CA for 11 years, mainly in roles that involve partnering with local churches, supporting them in all they do as communities to fundraise and raise awareness of the organisation’s global work.
