About the Event

Our community has offered a Cold Weather Shelter to the homeless for nearly 20 years and the need is increasing. Shelter Volunteer Coordinator Andrew Appleyard will offer his reflections on how we offer practical help as well as considering what needs to change in wider society.

You can also watch online via our YouTube Channel

You are also invited to join us afterwards for a virtual social gathering, Virtual Side Aisle, at noon via Zoom. Details and the Zoom link are on our weekly update email. You can also find the Zoom link on YouTube – in the Service description, under the video. Click the Connect link and it will take you to Zoom.

Bright Lights

During our Bright Lights session, we will be taking part in a group activity! This week we will be making cool Valentine’s Day cards with a 3-D bird you will create that pops in and out when you open the card.

Our Children's Chapel activities for children 5+ and creche for 2-5 year olds are run by our fantastic Bright Lights team. Join Maya, Jo and Angelika for fun times!

Collection

Can be made as cash or contactless donations during the closing music. You can also donate to the Chapel online. Our collections in February, with the exception of online donations, will be shared with the Good Cause of the Month, Life after Hummus! Any Gift Aid claimed by the Chapel will go wholly to support the Chapel.
