About the Event
'The People’s Emergency Briefing' is a 50-minute documentary film and grassroots campaign that presents the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to the British public. Originating from a landmark Westminster briefing for Members of Parliament, it aims to foster community discussions and local resilience.
About the Film
Launched nationally in April 2026, the film is an explicitly non-partisan initiative designed to bring expert evidence on health, food security, economics, and national security directly to communities. It is backed by numerous organizations including the National Trust, WWF, and the Royal Meteorological Society. The documentary features leading UK experts alongside familiar faces such as Chris Packham, Jennifer Saunders, and Deborah Meaden.
