As part of our commitment to the Unitarian Earth Spirit Network (ESN), a group for those who see the divine in nature, we have created a script to celebrate the pagan festival of Imbolc (pron. im-olk). You can download it below.

ESN will offer template scripts for each of the eight Wheel of the Year ceremonies over the coming year, as well as continuing with the annual 'File' publication of poems, readings, musings which is distributed to ESN Members.

We hope that these scripts will support Unitarians and others to hold Wheel of the Year ceremonies for their groups and congregations.

Imbolc is to celebrate Spring's impending replacement of Winter. In this sense, Imbolc may be seen as a spiritual alternative to the secular celebration of New Year's Eve.

Imbolc Ceremony Script

Download your copy of our Imbolc script which you can use as a starting point for holding your own ceremony. It has all the information you need for an inclusive ceremony, including preparation/set up, a music playlist and cards to print out so that volunteers to take part in the ceremony.
